El Dio de Agua!

Hey Camp Blazing Trails! Sorry about the delay in posting Water Day pictures! As you can see, Mouse got a TON of cheese from the campers, and she passed out in a cheese coma last night before she could update the blog! Enjoy the pictures!

The counselor challenge today: Each counselor had to fully put on a shirt frozen in a bag. That meant they had to get it out of the bag, back into a shirt shape, put it on, and tuck it in!

And the victory goes to the Arawaks!

In honor of MapQuest week, we had a "boot camp" themed Water Day, since the military uses a lot of maps, GPS, and satellite technology. The tribes had to complete a "boot camp" obstacle course...all while getting as wet as possible, of course!

Our non-Water Day participants, welcoming everyone to camp!

Go team Delta Strike!

Loco Raptor got in on the Water Day action too!

After the "boot camp" obstacle course, the Arawaks played some Army Dodgeball, Water Day style!

After the game, the Arawaks got a chance to jump in the Blazing Trails Aquatic Center!

The Takotas had a great Water Day too! They also did the "boot camp" obstacle course and got really, really, WET!

The Takotas got to play Drip, Drip, Drop, which is like Duck, Duck, Goose except with water!

The Takotas all got a chance to jump in the Blazing Trails Aquatic Center too!

This is why Jumping Panther is super awesome!

Thanks for a great Water Day, Camp Blazing Trails! Pictures are coming soon of Canoeing and Fishing!
