Another favorite day here at Camp Blazing Trails is archery day! Everyone loves learning how to shoot, and getting tons of beads! Since it was MapQuest week, Mouse upped the ante, and taped maps on the target, with different beads and bead combos earned based on where the arrow hit on the map. And of course, beads were still earned for hitting the target, hitting the ground (English bullseye), hitting the pole (Polish bullseye), and even having the arrow bounce off the target without going in! (Mystery bead)
The Takotas shot first, and they did a great job!
Oh no! Who could have possibly knocked an entire target over?
This guy!
Our special guest today was a staff sergeant from the Army recruiting office. He was a good speaker, and let the kids ask lots of questions. He even made Aztec Summers do pushups for not paying attention!
The Arawaks enjoyed archery as well, and it rained beads for them!
Outstanding Bear was the only one to hit a CBT space on the map, so he got a TON of beads!

Silly Takotas!

Silly Arawaks!
Thanks for a great day of archery, Blazing Trails! Can't wait to see your arts and crafts skills, and find out who's Camper of the Week!
