The Takotas got to shoot on the archery range first, and they had a blast! We saw a lot of good shots, and handed out a TON of beads!
We encourage the campers to cover the tips of the arrows with their hands and walk like a zombie back to the arrow holder. Mad Monkey did an interpretive zombie dance that was quite hilarious!
As we've said before, it rains beads here at camp...especially on Archery Day!
The Takotas were very encouraging to each other, and showed a lot of spirit in cheering each other on!
The Arawaks wer next to channel their inner Robin Hood, and they did great!
The Arawaks had some pretty hilarious "zombies" retrieving arrows...lots of stumbling around and moaning, "Braaaaaiiiinnnssss"

After a fun day of archery, everyone enjoys sitting in the shade for lunch and bead time!
