Weird Science!

Hey Camp Blazing Trails! We're excited to be learning about Weird Science with you this week! Enjoy the pictures from Monday and Tuesday!

For the challenge today, one of our CILTs was hosting a party. Each of the counselors had a silly character they had to act out. Amy had to guess what each counselor was!

Llama was Barbie, who was obsessed with belly buttons

Hedgehog was a squirrel afraid of baseball hats

Jump Rope was a prospector who couldn't stop break-dancing

Rhino was Moses, who was hard-of-hearing

Tuesday was Water Day! Everyone was even more excited for Water than usual, because it was so HOT!

The counselor challenge today was a relay race! The counselors had to carry a cup filled with water over their head, run to a bucket, and dump the water in the bucket. What they didn't know was that Mouse poked holes in the bottoms of the cups, so water went EVERYWHERE!

Princess Kim came as a special guest and talked about science in everyday life!

The Arawaks had an AWESOME Water Day!

After playing a game of Secret Agent Dodgeball, the Arawaks had an Epic Dive Contest! There was no real diving, but there were a LOT of epic jumps!

The Takotas played a game of Drip, Drip, Drop for Water Day! Always a favorite, especially if you're the chicken in the hot pot!

The Takotas also ended their Water Day with an Epic "Dive" Contest! We saw some pretty neat jumps!

Magnificent Millipede did a somersault into the Blazing Trails Aquatic Center! Needless to say, he won the Epic "Dive" Contest!
